China has no lack of entrepreneurs, innovation, market demand, or wealth.
For almost 40 years, the Chinese government has established research centers and high-tech zones, encouraging local companies to boost their innovation capacity, and helping universities thrive. Recently it declared its intention to transform China into “an innovative society” by 2020 and a world leader in science and technology by 2050.
How can China become the world’s innovation leader?
That’s where Israeli firms come into play, the Israeli innovation and their ambition to grow globally, makes a perfect match with the Chinese market's needs.
Therefore, IsCham together with its Israeli partner ViaMeshi, continue to create platforms for Israeli and Chinese corporates to meet, and engage in business collaborations.

| IsCham is proud to announce that in order to further promote the cooperation between Israel and Nanjing Jiangning Hi-Tech Development Zone, a Jiangsu branch office was opened in Tel Aviv last May. In addition, a new IsCham office was opened at Nanjing Jiangning Hi-Tech Development Zone.

| On May 25th IsCham together with INNONATION hosted an online Israeli Agriculture Event. We were honored to have Mr. Zhao jianshe, Director of Henan Zhongyuan Organic Agriculture Insititute thatgave an insightful speech on Business Opportunities for Israeli Companies in the AgriTech Sector in China.
The event was a great opportunity for Israeli startups in the agriculture industry to develop connections with Chinese entities in this sector. We thank all our Chinese partners who took part in this insightful event and wish our agriculture members good luck in your future business in China!

| On June 15th, IsCham together with ViaMeshi Association hosted an online event showcasing the Israeli innovative water treatment solutions. The event was co-organized with China-Israel Jizhi (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd, with the support from The Israeli Economic Mission in Guangzhou. We have five excellent Israeli water treatment companies presented their technologies in the roadshow sector: AST, Netafim, A.R.I., IDE Technologies, Watersight.

| On April 27, 2022. IsCham member-Cipia, a computer vision AI in-cabin automotive solutions provider announced Yehuda Holtzman as its new CEO. Yehuda is an experienced entrepreneur in both private and public tech companies, he is going to replace the retiring CEO David Tolub, who led Cipia through the recent IPO in Tel Aviv.
