Amir Gal Or is the Founder & Managing Partner of Infinity Group the leading Israeli-Chinese Equity Fund backed by the China Development Bank, Clal Industries, etc., with over 1.5 billion USD under management and 23 funds, incubators, and accelerators established throughout China. Notable exits of the fund include: Galileo, Saifun, Shopping.com, ShellCase, Scitex Vision, Digital China, WLCSP, Bazun, and ITS.
Amir is also the Chairman of INNONATION — a cross-border platform that bridges between Israeli innovation and the world under the framework of INNONATION. He has led three China-Israel Investment Summits (in Beijing, Tel Aviv, and Hong-Kong/Zhuhai) that, combined, have united 400+ Israeli Tech Companies and 10,000+ Chinese investors under one roof and yielded over $1 billion in proposed investments. Today, INNONATION is establishing a number of ‘Powerhouses’ in cities worldwide that will engrain the Israeli innovative spirit and know-how in local communities.
As a non-Chinese entrepreneur, he credited with establishing and leading 20+ locally owned Chinese companies and funds, as well as the first IP bank in China. In the last few years, he has led 10 IPOs, 8 M&A deals and over 50 exits. In 2017, Amir was bestowed “China Government Friendship Award” by the Chinese government for his great contribution to China-Israel business relations over the past nearly two decades. The award is the highest honor granted to foreign experts by the Chinese government for their contributions to the country’s economic progress.
Amir received an MBA from Tel Aviv University and is a graduate of Harvard University's Executive Program in Private Equity and Venture Capital. He is a former pilot in the Israeli Air Force and its acrobatic team, where he flew the F-16, F-4 and A-4, etc.
