Summary

Israel is known as the "start-up nation", most recognized for its innovation. The country holds 6th place in Bloomberg's Index of 2020's Top 60 Most Innovative Countries in the World. The Israeli Automotive industry has deeply contributed to this success, as one of its most productive & prosperous industrial sectors when it comes to innovation.

Many world leading AutoTech companies have opened R&D centers and offices in Israel such as Geely, BMW, Honda, SAIC and many more.

Innovation takes a substantial part in China's 5 year plan. In recent years, China has realized that in order to achieve its purposes and level up its innovation, using the aid of Israeli technology would benefit both sides.

We invite you to join us at this special seminar as presenters or audiences, to seek potential cooperation opportunities between China and Israel, and learn the insights of the uprising Auto Industry in China.

Iris is IsCham's General Manager. Iris holds a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) from the International School of Management (ISM), France; a Master’s degree in Business Management (MBA) from The Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, and a Master’s degree in law studies (MA) from Bar Ilan University, Israel. In addition, Iris holds a B.A. in Health systems management from The Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.

Iris lives in Shanghai with her family for the last 10 years. In Israel, Iris worked as a head purchaser in the public healthcare sector. Before that, she worked at an import company as a brand manager.

Her life and work experience, along with her academic knowledge, enables Iris to promote Israeli companies in China and connect them with the suitable Chines entities essential for success. Iris believes that combining China’s determination to acquire tech solutions and Israel’s profusion of tech companies would generate a great synergy and cooperation between the two countries.
