IsCham is honored to invite you to join our seminar with Israel's first high-tech entrepreneur of the Start-up Nation, Mr. Yossi Vardi on June 30th 2016, 3:00PM.
Yossi Vardi is considered to be one of the top leading entrepreneurs of Israel’s high-tech industry. Mr. Vardi started his career in fields that would be called low-tech today. At the age of 27 he was appointed director-general of Israel's development ministry and then held a similar job at the energy ministry.
In the past few decades he has invested in and helped to build over 60 Israeli start-ups - ranging from software firms to mobile phone and clean technology companies to name a few. One of his possibly most famous investments was the first popular internet instant messaging service ICQ, bought by AOL in 1998.
He has also played a part in the creation of Answers.com (went public), invested in software solutions firm Gteko (sold to Microsoft) and the Gift Project (sold to eBay), Tivella (sold to Cisco) and so forth.
Yossi Vardi attended the 2015 Boao Forum for Asia as a guest speaker, and he expressed his high hopes for Chinese tech market and saw a great future for Chinese entrepreneurs.
By attending this interesting unique seminar you’ll be exposed to the great thoughts about innovation and the expertise on start-ups of this veteran entrepreneur and investor.
